Kaikoura Kayaks Coronavirus (COVID-19) information and our cancellation policy

We are currently operating under a COVID-19 Alert Level 1 Safety Plan and continue to comply with public health and industry guidelines.

The ongoing spread of the novel coronavirus and COVID-19 may be impacting your travel plans and we are here to help. As countries reopen borders and travel restrictions ease, guidance may change frequently.

We encourage you to check with the World Health Organization (WHO), Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), or local government authorities for more information about the impact to your destination.

We know you value flexibility and we want you to have peace of mind when booking with us. Kaikoura Kayaks has adjusted our cancellation policies to cover COVID-19-related cancellations and to support our community, staff and so travellers can book with confidence.

While we are currently operating under Level 1 (no restrictions) we would like to assure that you have peace of mind when making a booking.

This means, your bookings are refunded in full if cancelled at least 24 hours before the start of the booking. If you’d like to change your travel plans or cancel a booking, please contact us as soon as you can.

·       Cancellations within 24 hours of the activity start time are non-refundable.

·       If Kaikoura Kayaks has closed as a preventative measure customers will receive a full refund.

·       If New Zealand is at Alert Level 3 or 4 and Kaikoura Kayaks cannot operate, customers will receive a full refund.

Whether you are on a trip now or in the process of planning one, we are here to help you in any way we can.
